📖 Photography as a tool for awareness and reflection

The primary aim of this exhibition is to bring visibility to the diverse forms of violence endured by women, extending far beyond the most apparent acts. Through photography, the project addresses realities connected to economic, workplace, institutional, psychological, physical, sexual, and symbolic violence.

AFOCER invites visitors to reflect on these visual works to help build social awareness. The exhibition highlights that combating explicit violence requires identifying and understanding the subtle forms that are often normalized or deeply rooted in society and culture.
