📖 About the exhibition

Featuring more than fifteen paintings created for this project, Nil Masip showcases his figurative style and skill in oil painting. The show invites visitors to journey through memory as an uncertain territory where lived experience, recollection, and imagination intertwine.

The paintings place young people in suspended moments of everyday life: sitting on a sidewalk after a party, stranded next to a broken-down car on a road, gazing at the landscape through a train window, or grocery shopping. These seemingly minor moments endure in memory, encouraging viewers to accept that some things are destined to disappear rather than preserving everything.

Nil Masip makes his solo debut with this project curated by Luis López, director of Inéditad Gallery, an art space located on Carrer Méndez Núñez in Barcelona focused on contemporary figuration.
