📖 Love, class hatred, and revolution
Drawing on Che Guevara's renowned quote asserting that true revolutionaries are guided by deep feelings of love, this exhibition charts a historical and theoretical journey through the notion of love in the revolutionary tradition.
Through this reflective path, Juana Dolores equates her class resentment and hatred with emotional resentment, questioning what form love might take under communism and how it differs from love under capitalism.
Facing contemporary capitalist crises and the rise of far-right movements, the artist asserts that the only true love possible amid spiritual and material poverty is devotion to revolution.
