📖 From the heights to aerial imagery
From the myth of Icarus and Leonardo da Vinci's flying machines to the Montgolfier balloons and the first flight in Barcelona in 1910, taking to the skies has been an enduring pursuit. This exhibition captures the city's relationship with the heavens, from the earliest photographs taken from a balloon in 1888 to the development of aerial photogrammetry.
Visitors can explore the evolution of both photographic methods and the airfields where this pioneering mode of transportation took flight.
