📖 The return of the legacy to the halls of Maricel
The exhibition brings together 26 artworks from the Banc Sabadell Art Collection to symbolically rebuild the presence of artists closely connected to collector Charles Deering.
The installation presents an evocative journey home as these pieces reoccupy the rooms of Maricel, reactivating the narrative of a pivotal chapter in Sitges' cultural identity. Featured artists include Santiago Rusiñol, Ramon Casas, Joaquim Mir, Hermenegild Anglada-Camarasa, Joaquim Sunyer, Eliseu Meifrèn, Arcadi Mas i Fondevila, Joan Roig i Soler, Oleguer Junyent, Joan Llaverias, Enric Casanovas, and Ricard Canals.
The selection also highlights works by Mariano Andreu, Xavier Nogués, Darío de Regoyos, Josep Maria Sert, Ramón de Zubiaurre, Rafael Durancamps, and Jaume Mercadé.
