📖 A journey into the realm's centers of power
Five centuries before Gaudí, Bellesguard and the Monestir de Pedralbes were already major seats of power. The area was frequented and inhabited by monarchs and key cultural and political figures such as Elisenda de Montcada, King Martin the Humane, Margarida de Prades, Violant de Bar, Bernat Metge, Cecília d'Urgell, and Pope Luna.
The route travels back to a landscape of palaces and convents set amidst streams and woodlands. The tour lasts 2.5 hours: it begins with a one-hour visit at Torre Bellesguard, continues during the public transit journey with guide commentary, and concludes with an additional one-hour explanation at the Monestir de Pedralbes.
