📖 The life and voice of a Broadway trailblazer

The show portrays the journey of an artist inspired by the legendary Chita Rivera, from her childhood in Puerto Rico to stardom on Broadway with iconic titles like West Side Story, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.

The piece explores the challenges, invisibilization, and personal battles faced along the way. During this journey, the characters she once embodied become internal voices that shape her identity, blending reality and fiction to reflect the story of any woman.

🎭 An all-female ensemble on stage

The cast features Ester Bartomeu, Queralt Albinyana, Xaro Campo, and Júlia Pérez, accompanied live by Anna Cruz Magín on double bass, Jana Gallifa Vàsquez on piano, Cecília Collaço on drums, and Enara Eguileta Delgado on saxophone.

Dramaturgy is by Alícia Serrat, Gara Roda, and Ester Bartomeu, with text by Serrat, musical direction and arrangements by Andrea Puig Doria, vocal coaching by Susanna Domènech Sànchez, and choreography by Tatiana Monells.
