📖 Who performs

Castellers de Barcelona act as the local host team and invite the most prominent teams on the castellers scene. This year's star guests are Minyons de Terrassa and Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls, two of the biggest names in the field.

The result is always a fine castellers display, tense and thrilling, accompanied by the gralles playing the toc de castells as the towers rise.

🏛️ Before and after

At 11 am a castellers parade sets off from Palau de la Virreina towards the square. And in the afternoon Plaça de Sant Jaume stays alive: sardana dancing at 4.45 pm, a habaneras concert by Carola Ortiz at 7 pm and the Toc a Plegar from 8.30 pm, the act that officially closes the festival.
