🌟 Highlights
The festival opens with the Catalan premiere of Guacamayo by José Maldonado, a piece fusing flamenco and painting. Más que baile by Ana Morales, winner of Spain's 2022 National Dance Award, arrives for the first time. Districte Flamenco presents three short pieces by young creators, and Ciutat Batalla, the flamenco-related dance contest, returns.
The finale is a farewell: Los Aurora, one of the bands that has done most to renew Catalan flamenco-jazz, say goodbye after ten years with a concert full of guests.
ℹ️ Good to know: recommended for ages 14+. Check the festival website for each show's price and venue.
✨ Ten days to discover why flamenco is also written in Barcelona.
