The concert presents six works by Charlotte Bray, five of which are national premieres: From the Innermost Places for cello, Ungrievable Lives for string quartet, Bring Me All Your Dreams for piano, That Crazed Smile and Those Secret Eyes for violin, cello, and piano, alongside That which you wove of lightest thread, I wear to honour stone, co-commissioned by L'Auditori.

The repertoire is complemented by Hans Werner Henze's Fünf Nachtstücke, a key work where the composer moves away from twelve-tone technique toward a more personal language, and Oliver Knussen's Sonya’s Lullaby, a delicate lullaby composed in the late 1970s to help his four-month-old daughter fall asleep.

Charlotte Bray's music has been performed by prestigious groups such as Ensemble intercontemporain, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, and Orchestre de Paris.
