🎭 The opera

Carmen is one of the most acclaimed and most performed operas in the world. Its original, piercing and seductive music blends styles ranging from classic French Romanticism to melodies inspired by Spanish folklore.

A staged version in two acts, lasting two and a quarter hours with a 15-minute interval: symphony orchestra, soloists, chorus, Spanish dance company, costumes and lighting designed for the occasion.

🎼 The team

Orquestra NovAria Filharmonia under music director Jofre Bardolet, chorus master Marta Finestres, stage director Mar Lorca and choreographer Núria Serra. NovAria has been bringing opera to wide audiences in Barcelona for more than a decade.
