📖 The sound of the Sahara live

Born in Niger, Bombino has turned the vastness of the Sahara desert into the defining signature of his music. Shaped by years of exile due to political conflicts in his homeland, the guitarist earned global acclaim with the release of his album Agadez in 2011.

He has since released celebrated albums such as Nomad, Azel, and Deran. With the latter, Bombino achieved a historic milestone in 2019 by earning a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album, making him the very first artist from Niger to be nominated.

🎸 The artist and the evening at La (2)

The stage of La (2) de Apolo provides an intimate setting to appreciate Bombino's intricate guitar technique and compelling rhythm. Organised by Piñata, this concert offers a direct encounter with the evocative compositions that have earned the musician international prominence.
