The centerpiece of this performance is the world premiere of A la guitarra de Llobet, a rhapsody specially composed by Joaquín Panadés to be performed on this historic guitar.

Throughout the evening, the strings of this legendary instrument crafted by Antonio de Torres in Seville in 1859 will resonate once again in public, offering listeners an authentic encounter with historical sound.

The guitar featured in this concert once belonged to maestro Miquel Llobet and represents one of the most celebrated treasures in the Museum's collection. Joaquín Panadés, working as both classical guitarist and composer, takes on the responsibility of bringing its historical voice back to the stage through his own music for Art Llobet 2026.
