The Al Ras Festival marks a quarter of a century promoting bluegrass and roots music with a special evening full of strings and rhythm. 🎶🪕

The event is part of the +TRÀD Tardor season at Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius, bringing together international bands and lovers of traditional sounds.

📖 Acoustic jam and international concerts

The program kicks off at 6:30 PM with an open acoustic jam session at the CAT bar, where invited artists and attendees can play together spontaneously.

Main stage concerts begin at 8:30 PM with The Bib-Ramblers, an Old-Time band from Granada formed in 2022 featuring musicians from the US, Switzerland, and Germany playing Appalachian tunes with fiddle, banjo, guitar, and vocal harmonies.

Making their Barcelona debut, Czech virtuosos Radim Zenkl and Ondra Kozák will take the stage to bridge global folk traditions. To wrap up the celebration, all participating artists will share the stage for a collaborative finale.

Since 1998, Al Ras has nurtured the bluegrass and Old-Time scene, fostering community ties and connecting Catalonia with the international circuit.
