Poetry steps off the page and mixes with everything else: collage, performance, music, video and vermouth. Festival NUDO is back, and in 2026 it reaches its tenth edition. 📚✨

NUDO describes itself as a poetic gathering celebrating the unsuspected links between beings and things, between ideas and forms. Over nine days, contemporary poetry meets other art forms across half a dozen venues in Barcelona.

📖 What to expect

The tenth edition brings together readings, workshops, performances, video poetry, music, collage, an open mic and a poetry fair.

Highlights include a conversation with Elsa Moreno, a collage marathon, a children's workshop and a poetry vermouth, the reading Tenemos hambre, the poetry and performance piece Pan y palabra, the rooftop session Technopoésie, the Urge poesía conference days, the poetry fair and the Versos & Visuals video poetry showcase, plus two poetry parties.

The festival moves around Ciutat Vella and the Raval: Casa Cupra Raval, Bar Trampolí, Casa Amèrica Catalunya, Convent de Sant Agustí, el RAI and Pati Llimona.

ℹ️ Good to know: most sessions are in Spanish and Catalan. Some activities are free and others are ticketed, from €3 for the video poetry screening up to €20-25 for the longer events, with passes covering several sessions. Some require booking in advance and capacity is limited. Check the daily programme before setting out, as the venue changes each day.
